Working closely with Get Ink’s creator, the brief was to write engaging website copy for their brand-new mobile app designed exclusively for tattooists to organise bookings, designs and client conversations all in one place. I researched the app fully in order to understand how it works, its features and benefits, and why it is a life-changing tool for a tattoo artist.
Nailing Get Ink’s tone of voice from the outset was key to creating their identity. The client wanted the brand to sound edgy, just like the artists they are targeting. Incorporating their no-nonsense tone into a series of easy-to-digest pages, it was my job to speak directly to time-poor artists who can’t see the wood from the trees and make them realise that Get Ink understands their problems and can offer a simple solution. Other pages included a transparent cost page and SEO-savvy FAQ’s.
The client was delighted with the end result and Get Ink continues to grow. I thoroughly enjoyed helping to market such a cool product.
